Rapiscan offers a one-day certified Operator training course, designed to develop students to become fully competent in all aspects of effectively handling our Rapiscan 500 Series workstation, whilst achieving maximum efficiency. Training can either be delivered at one of our training centres, or at your facility if more convenient.

TARGETED BLENDED TRAINING

We use only the most engaging and rewarding methods for delivering courses such as videos, interactive learning, gamification, knowledge banks and formal assessment. This provides users with realistic and accurate experiences, by incorporating security screening simulation and interactive knowledge testing in mobile user friendly formats. We ensure our customers and employees are prepared with the knowledge they need to keep themselves and others safe and secure at all times. Students will have access to a personalized Learning Hub for 12 months, full of additional learning content to support effective operation of Rapiscan Systems equipment.

COURSE AIM

This course provides students with the sufficient skills to become confident, competent and fully certified in operating the Rapiscan Systems 500 Series x-ray machine. This includes efficiently making use of all the system options features and functions.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

By the end of this course the students will be be confident with the operation of:

System overview and description of system components
System safety features and precautions
System pre-check, power-on and user menu
Scanning and imaging tools

CERTIFICATION & REFRESHER

This course certifies technicians for 12 months from the date of completion. Refresher training is available for this course, both in the form of classroom delivery and digital learning options.
